Tax and Transfer Policy Institute launch

21 June 2013

The Hon David Bradbury MP, Federal Member for Lindsay, Assistant Treasurer and Minister Assisting for Deregulation will launch the new Tax and Transfer Policy Institute at Crawford School of Public Policy on Thursday.

Mr Bradbury, a Senior Associate practising in taxation law with the corporate law firm Blake Dawson before entering politics, will launch the new Institute at a special breakfast event.

The Tax and Transfer Policy Institute based at Crawford School aims to answer the big questions for the country and region about tax and transfer systems.

The formation of the Institute builds on a key recommendation from Dr Ken Henry’s Tax Review to provide a “centre of excellence” to “undertake independent policy research” on taxation matters.

The Tax Studies Institute’s operations will be overseen by an Advisory Board to be chaired by Dr Henry.
